Year 1 and beyondAMXRA turned 1 year old in August 2023. I'm so proud of what we have all accomplished together creating in the creation of AMXRA and what it represents - the beginning of a modern medical society for a 21st century speciality of medical extended reality. I'm excited to see what the next year of AMXRA brings forward. We made a serious commitment to MXR with the establishment of the Journal of Medical Extended Reality in Year 1. Now it is up to this community to grow the journal and our society. In Year 2, AMXRA remains committed to our core initiatives of community building, education, and advancing the science of medical extended reality. Expect to see more partnerships, more programming for AMXRA members, and the first articles released from JMXR! As we continue to grow, we will experiment with best methods of engaging our community, whether it is on the AMXRA Mighty Network or via email communications like this. However you engage with the AMXRA community, a huge THANK YOU for being a member and supporting the vision. Year 2 is going to be great.
